Santa Claus came.... and so did Nana and Pud!

We had a fabulous Christmas.    This is by far one of the best Christmas' I've ever had.    And not because of the thoughtful, useful, and practical gifts.    Our focus was just on being together as a family. Nana and Pud came up to visit and celebrate for the day.   We had a wonderful time!   We are so blessed!!!!

Mother's Day 2013

I had a lovely Mother's Day!   Elliot woke up and presented me with my awesome card and frame.     We've had the frame since our baby shower but just never had the time to fill it so Elliot and Daddy made a special trip to Target to pick out photos together for the frame.    I love the black/white/silver.   

After Elliot's morning nap, I had a nap!   It was lovely.   Then we all went to Hoss' for a nice lunch with the salad bar.   Afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble, and then to Stauffers of Kissel Hill to pick out the cactus family I wanted.   I'm horrible with plants but I seem to have good luck with cacti.   Pepe, my Valentine's day cactus from YEARS ago is still alive and well.    

We had a very relaxing day and even stopped for some Rita's.     By the time we got home we vegged out together and watched Long Island Medium.   I love that show!

Sneak Peak!

For our baby shower, my brother gave Mark and I two priceless gifts. The first is a poem he wrote for Elliot which is hanging in his room. The second is a photo shoot with Jenny Castro. Jenny is the sister of my brothers good friend. We will definitely be using Jenny again. "Like" her on facebook (Jenny Castro Photography) and especially if you're in the Philly area... book her! Here is a "teaser" photo of Elliot she posted tonight for us to see. I can't wait to see the rest of them!
